JEFF DONOVAN, Mason City, was born in Champaign Co., O., June 24, 1829. He came to Mason Co. in 1848 and settled in Mason City Twp. Mr. Donovan owns land in Dak., Tex., and Ill. To the extent of 2,700 acres, besides considerable city property. Married July 2, 1861, to Miss Matilda Chestnut, of Ross Co., Oh. P. O. Mason City.
